Arran Lodge and Sleephuts – Terms and Conditions
1. General Information
Arran Lodge and Sleephuts comprises 13 lodge rooms and 22 individual Sleephuts, with access to a shared communal kitchen. Our goal is to provide a comfortable and friendly stay for all our guests. By making a booking with us, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions.
2. Booking and Payment
• Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment or a deposit as specified at the time of booking.
• We accept debit, credit cards and bank transfers.
• Group bookings or exclusive use must be arranged in advance and may be subject to additional terms.
3. Check-in / Check-out
• Check-in time: 4.00pm
• Check-out time: 10am
• Early check-in or late check-out may be possible upon request and may incur an additional fee.
4. Dogs and Pets
• Dogs are permitted in Sleephuts only.
• A maximum of 2 dogs per hut is allowed. There is a £5 per dog, per night charge for this.
• Owners must ensure their dogs are well-behaved and kept on leads in communal areas.
• Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and any damage caused.
• Dogs are not permitted in the lodge rooms or communal kitchen area.
5. Use of Facilities
• All guests have access to the communal kitchen and breakfast room.
• Please clean up after use and respect other guests.
• Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am to ensure comfort for all guests.
6. Damages and Liability
• Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property or its contents during their stay.
• Arran Lodge and Sleephuts reserves the right to charge for repairs or replacements.
7. Smoking and Vaping
• Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside all rooms, huts, and communal areas.
• Designated outdoor smoking areas are provided.
8. Cancellation Policy
Because of our island location, cancellations affect us severely as it may not be possible to fill the room. Please note that we maintain a strict cancellation policy which applies even if you’re unable to travel because of ferry disruption or stormy weather. All amendments and cancellations must be made according to our terms. Where this doesn’t happen we reserve the right to charge the full amount for your booking. Individual Lodge rooms and Sleep Huts: When you tell us about an amendment or cancellation: – less than seven days before your arrival or after you have checked in, we will charge the total amount for your booking. We may make a full or partial refund of this charge if we are able to replace your reservation by a third party. – between seven days and one calendar month before your arrival we will charge an amount equivalent to one night’s stay. – more than one calendar month before your arrival there is no charge and your initial payment will be refunded.
9. Liability Disclaimer
• We do not accept liability for any loss, damage, or injury to guests or their belongings unless caused by our negligence.
• Guests are advised to take out appropriate travel insurance.
10. Right to Refuse
• We reserve the right to refuse entry or terminate a stay if guests do not comply with these terms and conditions or behave in a disruptive or unsafe manner.
